How Much Does It Cost To Take The LEED Green Associate Exam?

The first step in earning a LEED credential is the LEED Green Associate credential, which is also the prerequisite of the LEED AP with specialty credentials. In this blog post we will go through the LEED Green Associate exam fees for different categories of test-takers.

USGBC has 4 different pricing category for the LEED Green Associate exam, which varies depending on if you are a student, veteran, or an employee of a USGBC member company.

The regular fee for taking the LEED Green Associate exam is $250. However, if you are a full-time employee of a USGBC member company, your exam fee will be reduced to $200. If you are a full-time student, you can take the LEED Green Associate exam for $100. And at last, for veterans the LEED Green Associate exam is free.

These fees are for one single exam session. If a candidate fails the exam on the first attempt, the candidate needs register again and pay the exam fee for each exam attempt.
